I am Supritha N K, Centre Directress at Footprints, Jalahalli West, Bengaluru. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a Certification in Psychological Counselling and Guidance, and bring with me nearly 20 years of experience in the field of education, including teaching, training, counselling, educational administration, and working closely with children, young learners, and their families. I am deeply passionate about creating a positive and nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, heard, and encouraged to explore the world around them. I strongly believe that the early years of a child's life lay the foundation for their confidence, curiosity, emotional well-being, and lifelong love for learning. Every child is unique, and I believe our role as educators is to understand each child's individual needs, celebrate their strengths, and provide them with the right environment to flourish. What inspires me most is witnessing the journey of growth—whether it is a child gaining the confidence to express themselves, trying something new for the first time, or developing the independence to take their next little step. I believe children learn best when they are given opportunities to explore, play, make choices, ask questions, and learn through meaningful experiences. At our centre, my focus is on creating a safe, joyful, welcoming, and enriching environment where every child feels a true sense of belonging and every parent feels confident and supported. I also believe that a strong and happy team is at the heart of a successful centre. When teachers and staff feel respected, supported, and motivated, they are better equipped to create meaningful experiences for children.
