Hello, I’m Shweta Singh and I’m so happy to welcome you to Footprints Preschool and day care.With over 11 years in early childhood education, I’ve had the joy of working with many children, parents, and educators. I've served in roles like Pre-Primary Coordinator at VIBGYOR Roots and Rise, Centre Head at Maple Bear Canadian Preschool and Smart Kids Center for Excellence, and a Student Mentor at Neo Kindergarten. I’ve also been a Main Teacher at Serra International School and even spent a few years with Aashvani.My journey has taught me that early learning is not just about books—it’s about building confidence, curiosity, and compassion. I believe in structured learning with a soft, understanding touch. Every child is unique, and it’s our job to help them shine in their own way.I’ve been trained in Montessori, Reggio Emilia and Waldorf philosophies, as well as traditional Nursery and Kindergarten methods. I hold diplomas in both Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) and Montessori Teacher Training (MTT), along with a bachelor’s degree.As a Centre Directress, I work closely with my teachers and parents to create a safe, joyful, and engaging space for children. I truly believe that when children feel loved and supported, they learn best—and that’s the environment I strive to create every single day.

Footprints is one of the best decision that we made to send our son. He was so clingy and was not at all socialising with others. But in 3 days everything changed he started liking school. Big thanks to teachers and nannies really patient and helpful in his development. Now he like to go to school, he is learning to sentence and looks quite active.
